Helping women and families feel supported, empowered, confident, and informed through pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

“I do not care what kind of birth you have…a home birth, scheduled cesarean, epidural hospital birth, or if you birth alone in the woods next to a baby deer. I care that you had options; that you were supported in your choices, and that you were respected.

- January Harshe

What is a doula?

A doula is a trained support person who offers informational, physical and emotional support throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery.

Whether you’re planning an unmedicated vaginal birth, a scheduled cesarean or anything in-between, a doula can provide unwavering and much-needed support and advocacy for the whole family.

How can I help?

[Kate’s] peaceful, grounding presence…is something I hold dear. Not to mention her thorough follow up support for me in those tough, early postpartum days as well. Her dedication to her clients is truly awe-inspiring.”
